A new storyline today.

Recently, at least through Victoria, a new edict went out through primary schools. In short it meant that lollies were no longer to be used as rewards throughout the day, etc. Because it was making kids fat and obese. The kids took exception at this. They couldn’t understand why they would run around the oval once a day five times through the week, eat fruit during silent reading in the afternoons, were allowed to have drinks in class if it was water, had regular healthy lunch days, and spent the time before lunch on clear days swinging on the monkey bars if they’re lunch was eaten yet weren’t allowed to get the half a musk stick lolly they might win from the end of week raffle for good behaviour any more because it would make them fat.

I told them I was on their side with this argument but we’d been outvoted.
