I saw something about Sue the other day – she’s got some nasty injuries to her skeleton – broken ribs, a compound fracture of the lower leg, etc. Tough old bird! But if I want to see dinosaurs I can go to the Melbourne Museum too. We have some there. :)

I went to Chicago this summer and saw Sue at the Field Museum. A most impressive skeleton indeed. Though if you really want to immerse yourself in dinosaurs, you should consider making a field trip to the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller, Alberta.

I live in Chicago and we have a dinosaur, T-Rex, named Sue*, supposedly the most complete T-Rex skeleton anywhere. It’s at the Field Museum of natural History.

* – No one knows the actual sex. It’s named after its discoverer, a woman (contrary to Johnny Cash) named Sue.

Yeah, they made it in America for a while there, but I think most of their appeal is across various European countries instead. A good, homegrown success story, the Wiggles and their Big Red Car.

Hey, we get the Wiggles here (USA). You have to hunt to find them, but they’re on, and you can still occasionally find the DVDs and toys, usually at flea markets and such.
