The fourth Test match of the summer isn’t yet over, but it might as well be. The Poms belted us on the first day and are over 300 ahead already… with three days still to go, it’s gonna be a killing, and they’ll take the Ashes home with them.
When’s footy season start again?
We’ll have two years now to regroup and send the Aussies over to England to try to win them back, but until then, let’s not talk about it any more, eh?

Well, what with the recession & the banks, we need everything we can urn – Even the cricket team had to pitch in.
Yeah, reeeeaally sorry about the Ashes. As I sit here on Tuesday morning in Pom Land I can only but reflect on your second innings score of 6 -169, with soooo much time left and a bowler with a broken foot. It doesn’t get much better…er I mean worse… than this!! Hah! (love the strip though; you got us beat there!)
Nah, the Poms were just too good for us this time around and we haven’t quite settled a new solid cricket team just yet. You can’t argue with the way they played. I’d have liked it to have been a little closer, but the stronger team won. Besides, a strong England team again has to be good for world cricket, even if it takes us a few years to construct a potent team again.
Bring on the next Ashes series in 2012! :)
Also, good to hear from you again, Roderick!
