Certain kids will do this every time. You can see them coming down the street, or in the supermarket or the local plaza. You know they’ve seen you because suddenly they’re looking everywhere but in your direction. No way are we going to bump into the teacher when we’re down the street! Yuck!
Mind you, there are other kids who will openly call out and run halfway across the supermarket to catch you if they get so much as a glimpse!
