They get right protective, magpies do. Once they start swooping nobody is safe from these little kamikaze divebombers. They seem to leave you alone if you walk by with an icecream container with drawn on eyes on top of your head. Possibly because they think that anyone crazy enough to walk around with an icecream container on their head is a bloke they don’t want to mess with.
