ANZAC Day again, so to commemorate it, here’s another School Spirit Special for it. Last time it was about the original ANZAC Day in 1915, this time more about how it’s commemorated now.
In the AFL football states, the biggest game of the year apart from the Grand Final is generally the ANZAC Match, traditionally played between Essendon and Collingwood, first played in 1995. It is incorporated into the ceremony of the day and generally, if you are into footy, is a good way for the code to pay its own respects on the day.
Although I am an Essendon fan, that’s not really why the Soldier is cheering on the Same Olds, as they were known back in his time. It’s just that there’s no way I was going to let him barrack for Collingwood.

Wendy been let out of her room huh?
