Those well versed in Australian folklore may well have recognised this storyline. It is a School Spirit rendition of one of A.B. ‘Banjo’ Paterson’s poems, ‘The Ghost Of The Murderer’s Hut‘. Hopefully we’ve at least done the ballad the respect it deserves.
